THE TRUTH ABOUT THE GAMES

Everyone enjoys the Games. Why shouldn't they? Sunshine (because we're lucky), pipes and drums, whisky tasting, caber tossing and thousands of smiles. What's not to love? Now for the ugly truth...

The Games are work! About a dozen people sit around a conference table throughout the year and bat around ideas on how to improve the Games. Then they go out and do that. These people are the organizing committee. As much as they love the Games, sometimes the workload gets to be a bit much and they need help!

So...we are reaching out to you. Would you like to get involved in the planning of the Games?

If you can devote 5 - 10 hours a month, we'd like to talk to you. Why? Because after all the work, you know that you've helped create those thousands of smiles.
