Heavy Events
Come on out to watch us throw!!
It is a great day of sporting entertainment, you won’t be disappointed! To really enjoy the experience bring your lawn chairs, blankets to sit on and your sun umbrellas for some good shade while you enjoy the day. Our events for the day will start at 9.30am in the following order; Braemar & light stone, Light & Heavy Weights for Distance, Light & Heavy Scottish Hammer, Lunch break then Weight over Bar, Sheaf Toss, the ever popular Caber Toss (around 3:30pm) and we will end the day with the Farmers Walk.
NOTICE TO ALL COMPETITORS
All athletes please pre register by June 15th and the field of competitors for Novices will be limited to 12 so sign up early. If there is room on competition day, we will allow walk-on registrations, but you must be on the field by 9am. Events for the Novices are the Light Stone, Light Hammer, Light Weight for Distance, Weight over Bar and the Caber.

Due to construction this year in the Stadium, the Heavy Events will be in the baseball field located in between the North & South Gate entrances to the Stadium. There will be bleachers to sit & watch a day of great sporting entertainment. Look for the signs saying 'HEAVY EVENTS'. Please click for map.
