Due to construction this year in the Stadium, the Heavy Events will be in the baseball field located in between the North & South Gate entrances to the Stadium. There will be bleachers to sit & watch a day of great sporting entertainment. Look for the signs saying 'HEAVY EVENTS'. Please click for map.

To make things easier to find at the Games some tents will be identified by balloons floating above the tent.

Information Tent - Blue Balloons

Whisky Tasting - Black Balloons

Cultural Tent - Red Balloons

Children's Area - Purple Balloons

PUBLIC TRANSIT

For those who might wish to use Public Transit the following options are available:

SkyTrain / Bus

From New Westminster Braid SkyTrain Station, Bay 2, the 169 Bus runs every thirty minutes beginning at 8:04 a.m. and ends at Coquitlam Central Station. From there walk to Coquitlam Centre Mall to get the Free Games Shuttle Bus near Zellers.

The return 169 leaves Bay 11, Coquitlam Central Station every thirty minutes at 3 minutes past the hour and 27 minutes to the hour.

From Vancouver and area, take the SkyTrain to Lougheed Station.

From/To Lougheed Station there are three alternatives.

The 151 leaves Bay 3, Lougheed Station and runs every 30 minutes from 8:10a.m. and goes to Coquitlam Rec. Centre which is within walking distance of the Percy Perry Stadium. The return 151 leaves Coquitlam Rec. Centre, Bay 2, every 30 minutes at 7 minutes after the hour and 47 minutes to the hour.

The 152 leaves Bay 2, Lougheed Station and runs every 30 minutes from 7:49 a.m. and goes to Coquitlam Central Station. The return 152 leaves Coquitlam Central Station, Bay 8, every 30 minutes at 2 minutes past the hour and 28 minutes to the hour.

The 97 BLine -Coquitlam Station/Lougheed Station leaves Bay 1 approximately every 15 minutes from 10 minutes after the hour and you will be able to get off the bus near Guildford and Pinetree. This takes approximately 25 minutes. Return journey is almost exactly reversed with the times of the buses at the stop nearest the Stadium the same as the in journey.

West Coast Express Train Bus

This bus leaves Mission on Saturday morning at 7:50 a.m., 9:50 a.m. and 11:50 a.m.. calling at Port Haney, Maple Meadows and Pitt Meadows, and arriving at Coquitlam Central Station at 8:57 a.m., 10:57 a.m. and 12:57 a.m. respectively. The Train Bus departs Coquitlam Central Station at 4:12 p.m., 6:12 p.m. and 8:32 p.m. on Saturday afternoon/evening.
