2018 Games Information

First time at a Scottish Highland Games?  Welcome! The people of the highland's of Scotland are renowned for their hospitality.  So, all are welcome to these games of competition between our pipers, drummers, pipe bands and highland dancers. But there's so much more for everyone at a highland games.

Pick up a Games souvenir program. It's your guide to the Games: the bands, singers and dancers; who's playing where and when, schedules, how to find the beer garden, whisky school classes, cultural events, kids activities, the roll of massed pipe bands and the thunder of the 78th Fraser's official opening canon blast. It's fun for families, family reunions, kids, adults and seniors. All in one place. Rain or shine!

Calling all Clans: Plans are well underway for the 2018 BC Highland Games & Scottish Festival in Coquitlam on June 16.

Along with the best pipers, drummers, pipe bands, highland dancers and heavy event competitors, in 2018 the Scottish clans who helped build a nation are invited to gather at the Games.

The BC Highland Games & Scottish Festival (BCHG) invites you to celebrate your ancestors at our Games. We provide free space for you to set up a 10 x 10 tent and inform the thousands of people at the Games about your Clan, its history, its members and more. Don't have a tent, table & chairs? Don't worry. We rent them at cost but they go early, so book early. And then start preparing, your tartans, flags, banners, crests and more. And take part in the Clan march past at noon.

For more information or to register, please contact BCHG Clan Coordinator ">Denise Chaisson.
