Friday Night 2020
The Games open with a bang in 2020. Our 3rd "Celtic Kick Off Ceilidh" in our highland games beer garden begins on Friday, June 19. Come to Lafarge Lake Park on Friday for an evening of live Celtic music and taste a selection of BC brews from Victoria's Twa Dogs Brewery. Looking for an even more traditional experience? Check out Open Piobaireachd (classical music of the pipes).It's a competition on the TD Community stage between some of the west coast's best pipers. Wander through the Celtic vendor and artisan market, or grab some tartan and lace up your runners for our 2nd annual Highland Games Tartan Run, which ends up at the beer garden. We may even have a special whisky school class on Friday eve. Stay tuned.
Tickets At-the-Gate
All At-the-Gate tickets can be purchased with CASH or CREDIT CARD. ATM's will be available near the gates. Whisky School tickets are available in advance online (recommended) ($40 for adults 19 yrs of age and older). Whisky School tickets are not sold at any entry gate but there may be a limited number avail at the BCHG info booth near the main entrance. Check early.
